Track Update

 

As you may have seen, heard, or are now being informed, the track is very close to completion.  With that said, we are not done yet and we still need to finish up a few more things.  However, the track surface itself with all the new striping looks inviting enough to take your car out to the track and give it one little test drive, promotional picture, or whatever. 

Don't even think about it!

Even if we were completely done we still need to have our final inspection and have our "Occupancy Permit" signed off first before we can even think of putting a car on the track.  There will not be any secret opportunity for anyone to be on the track first.  We will be having a club publicized WQMA practice weekend; come to the meeting this Friday at the Monroe Alfy's and get the scoop!

If for some reason you feel the need to put your car on the track "for any reason", it will be my recommendation to the Board that the family be suspended from the club for a period of one year.  We have way too much to lose by somebody doing this type of thing so please just don't.

I'm just trying to be proactive with this email, nobody has done anything silly to this point, I just thought it should be said.  If you know of someone who did not get this email you might let them know.  My recommendation for suspension will be the same no matter.
